VP Chiwenga Spearheads Global Efforts Against Drug Abuse at WHA: Zimbabwe Leads the Way in Combating Menace

In a lead-up to the Seventy-sixth World Health Assembly, the East Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSAHC) successfully convened the Health Ministers Conference (HMC). The meeting included key participants from across the region, notably Zimbabwe’s Vice President and Health Minister, Dr. Constantino Chiwenga.

 

The conference emphasized the collective effort needed in combating drug abuse, highlighting the importance of research and firm policy-making. Insights from this meeting will shape ECSAHC’s strategies at the upcoming World Health Assembly.
