ECSA-HC Director-General Leads Courtesy Visit to Mauritius Minister of Health Ahead of BPF & DJCC

Port Louis, Mauritius – August 1, 2025

With the 15ᵗʰ Best Practices Forum (BPF) and 31ˢᵗ Directors’ Joint Consultative Committee (DJCC) just days away, the Director-General of the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC), Dr. Ntuli A. Kapologwe, led a high-level delegation to the Ministry of Health and Wellness of the Republic of Mauritius this morning.

The team was warmly received by Hon. Anil Kumar Bachoo, G.O.S.K, Minister of Health and Wellness, alongside the Ministry’s senior officials and Permanent Secretary. The meeting focused on final preparations for the upcoming regional events and reaffirmed shared commitments to enhancing health systems for equity, resilience, and sustainability.

The BPF and DJCC will be held from 4ᵗʰ to 6ᵗʰ August 2025 at the InterContinental Mauritius Resort, convening over 200 leaders and experts from across the ECSA region.
