Strengthening Regional Health Collaboration | Geneva, WHA78

The East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) had the privilege of meeting the newly elected Regional Director for WHO Africa (WHO AFRO) during the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva.

This high-level engagement provided an opportunity to:

• Reaffirm ECSA-HC’s commitment to WHO AFRO’s leadership
• Discuss strategic priorities for advancing health systems strengthening, innovation, and regional cooperation
• Align on shared goals to accelerate progress toward Universal Health Coverage and improved health outcomes in the ECSA region
