ECSA-HC Joins “Walk the Talk” at the 75th WHO Regional Committee for Africa in Lusaka
The 75th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa (RC75) officially opened in Lusaka, Zambia, with the inspiring “Walk the Talk” campaign — a health-promoting event that brought together leaders, policymakers, partners, and communities to champion healthier lifestyles and raise awareness on the fight against Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
The East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) proudly joined Member States, the World Health Organization (WHO AFRO), Africa CDC, and other partners in this symbolic walk, demonstrating strong regional commitment to building resilient health systems and advancing health for all.

The campaign was graced by Professor Mohamed Yakub Janabi, WHO Regional Director for Africa, alongside Ministers of Health, regional organizations, and international partners.
