Scholarship Opportunity: China Government Exchange Program – Hosting African Scholars

The East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC), in partnership with Southern Medical University (SMU), China, invites qualified African scholars from its member states to apply for the China Government Exchange Program – Hosting African Scholars.

This fully funded one-year academic exchange in Guangzhou, China, is designed to promote cross-border research collaboration, knowledge sharing, and regional innovation in health and science policy.

Eligibility Highlights:

• Nationals of ECSA-HC member states
• PhD holders or researchers with at least 5 years of experience
• Under 45 years of age (born on or after 1 January 1980)
• Currently employed in research or science/technology policy institutions
