Women Centered Care
Around the world-in both industrialized and low- and middle-income countries- too many women seeking healthcare face undignified conditions, a lack of services and resources, and poor quality of care. Health care worker performance is often hindered by sub-optimal care environments, including poor infrastructure, limited supplies, heavy workloads and insufficient support. To confront these issues, ECSA-HC secretariat and partners collaborate to produce and share evidence to advance respectful high-quality care and address obstetric emergencies, among other issues. See “resources” for more information and materials.
