ECSA-HC Strengthens Diplomatic Ties with the East African Community
Today, a delegation from the East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) had the honor of meeting with Her Excellency Veronica M. Nduva, CBS, Secretary General of the East African Community (EAC).
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss avenues for deepening collaboration between ECSA-HC and the EAC. Central to the discussions was the review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2015, with a view to aligning it with emerging regional health priorities and needs.
The EAC remains one of ECSA-HC’s most strategic and long-standing partners, with collaborative efforts spanning Health Security, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), and Nutrition.
Her Excellency underscored the importance of a results-oriented and impact-driven approach to partnership. In response, ECSA-HC reaffirmed its strong commitment to advancing shared goals and delivering tangible outcomes for the people of the EAC and ECSA regions.
